Why Skateboarding?

Possibly more than any other activity, skateboarding promotes perseverance and creativity. Every curb, you can do a trick on, every set of stairs, you can jump down. Kids learn to get up when they fall down repetitively, even if they have been practicing the same trick for hours. It teaches them lessons and creates bonds that will last for their whole life. There is nobody telling you what, when, and where you have to practice, it is all driven by your own passion for skateboarding. Skateboarding is a great way for kids to get physical exercise, and find a supportive community of other skateboarders to help them progress.
